HR deals with many issues, but probably the biggest challenges faced today are Recruitment, Retention & Motivation, Leadership Development, and Corporate Culture.
I always believe in Leadership Management, hence, before you judge a person, prefer walking a mile in his shoes. If you want motivation you need to give motivation to others as well, and I do so.
"Failures are the stepping stones to success, believe in yourself & face whatever the situations are in front of you"
Tell us about the top three milestones you have achieved throughout your professional journey. What has been your mantra for success?
Well, those count, me being appointed as the CHRO. Second, when I started my own start-up. And, third would be when I rescued more than 100 dogs with my team members during the COVID-19 pandemic time.
Furthermore, the success mantra, I go by is realizing- ‘Failures are the stepping stones to success, believe in yourself & face whatever the situations are in front of you’.
Where do you foresee the Indian HR landscape headed in the near future? How do you align yourself with evolving industry trends, requirements, and rules?
The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) has been in existence for 37 years and has certified 24,000 HR professionals in India. About 14 percent of the total jobs in Human Resource Management in India are analytics-based. In 2021, an estimated 30,000 HR professionals would be in demand in India. The future of HR will involve a range of technologies. Data analytics and recruiting trends will be made possible by artificial intelligence in 2023. Over the next three years, IBM research predicts that the adoption of AI integration will increase from 40 to 80 percent.
And, I strategically align myself with the present times, staying up to date- paying attention to social media. One of the most convenient places to stay updated with trends is Social media. Also, give industry newsletters a try. Another way to follow trends is to sign up for newsletters. Additionally, read interviews with industry leaders, use analytical tools, watch your competitors, and participate in membership with leaders group.
