That Sassy Thing: Sachee Malhotra

Sachee Malhotra is the co-founder of That Sassy Thing, a pioneering women-first sexual wellness brand in India launched in 2021 alongside Himanshu Bhalla, creating a safe, stigma-free access to sexual wellness and education. Her own years of living with PCOS and the cultural silence around intimate female health inspired her to build the brand from the ground up.
That Sassy Thing offers a curated range of products intimate washes, aloe-based lubricants, and full-body massagers, and couples them with free, credible sex-education masterclasses. The brand reports 200% year-on-year growth and over 50,000 customers served across India.
Funding Raised: The startup raised Rs 6 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures in April 2025, with participation from notable angels including Bala Sarda and the Chandigarh Angels Network.
