The Moms Co.: Malika Datt Sadani

Malika Datt Sadani is the founder-CEO of The Moms Co., a Delhi-based D2C brand focused on toxin-free personal and baby-care products. Frustrated by not finding safe, natural formulations in India during her own motherhood journey, she launched the company in 2016 with her husband, Mohit Sadani, initially self-funding it before raising institutional capital.

Funding Raised: The Moms Co has raised $1 million in a Series A in 2017, followed by $5 million in late 2019 and $8 million in Series B in 2020 from investors including Saama Capital and DSG Consumer Partners. The brand scaled rapidly, serving more than 5 lakh consumers across 10,000+ pin codes and aiming for Rs 100 crore in revenue.

In 2021-23, the brand was acquired by the Good Glamm Group at a valuation of around Rs 500 crore, elevating the vision of empowering mothers through premium Indian-made care.
