 Avaana Capital, founded in 2018, aims to invest in early-stage, technology-led startups that offer scalable solutions for India's climate resilience and sustainable growth.

Anjali Bansal, a strategy consultant and global leader, founded Avaana Capital, focusing on scalable climate technologies. Recognized as one of the "Most Powerful Women in Indian Business," she also chairs Startup20 and co-founded FICCI's women-on-corporate-boards governance program.

The fund closed at $135 million in late 2024, exceeding initial targets. Avaana plans to invest in 20-25 startups, deploying Rs 10-30 crore per company. The fund supports over 20 climate tech startups, including Eeki Foods, Kazam, NinetyOne Cycles, FarMart, Aerem, Dreamfly, AmpereHour, TurnO, Sentra, Dharaksha, and Terra.do. Avaana supports sustainable MSMEs, catalyzes institutional climate capital, and promotes inclusive innovation through engagement with women entrepreneurs.
