The Oriental Insurance Company Limited's chairman and managing director was Ms. S. N. Rajeswari. Additionally, she was appointed to the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) as a Whole-Time Member (Distribution). She holds a chartered accounting expertise and after completing her MBA at Bharathiar University, she joined the Insurance Institute of India as a fellow member. Her career began in 1984 as a Direct Recruit Officer at United India Insurance Company Limited, where she gained solid experience in a variety of areas including marketing, technical, accounts, and finance. She has worked in the general insurance industry for over 37 years.
