Changemakers: 7 Women Entrepreneurs Taking the Make in India Movement Forward

Meghana Narayan & Shauravi Malik - Slurrp Farm
Meghana Narayan, a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford with an MBA from Harvard and consulting experience at McKinsey, brought expertise in public health and strategy. Shauravi Malik, an economics graduate from Cambridge and St. Stephen’s, brought global finance experience from JP Morgan and the Virgin Group. Together, they blended professional rigor with a personal purpose.
They co-founded Wholsum Foods, a parent company to Slurrp Farm in 2015, addressing a pressing gap in the market: nutritious, preservative-free packaged food for children. Their shared frustration as mothers searching for healthy, tasty options sparked a mission to revive India’s heritage grains like ragi, jowar, and bajra. They later launched Mille, offering fibre-rich products for adults, and in March 2025, Slurrp Farm launched “New Flavours, Yes Please!”, a zero-added-sugar cereal campaign, offering free Ragi cereal packs to 10,000 mothers.
