Known for her fiery pace and deadly swing, she retired from international cricket on September 24, 2022, holding the record for the wickets taken in Women's One-Day International (ODI) history, taking a total of 355 wickets across all formats. Over a career spanning two decades, Jhulan inspired young bowlers with her stamina, consistency, and leadership, smashing records including most balls bowled in career (10005) in ODIs, most wickets taken in ODIs (95), and the first woman to bowl 10,000 deliveries in ODIs.
