2. Aarzoo Khurana
Aarzoo Khurana is an honest and impassioned Indian wildlife photographer whose pictures express the beauty and frailty of nature. But her journey has not been a smooth passage. The society did not permit Aarzoo to travel alone into the jungle for fieldwork till she was 26. Even today, she is told not to shoot in the sun, or asked by many whether she is scared to go alone. Sidelined in the male-dominated career paths, coupled with the marking of unsafe for women, are a few obstacles she fights every day.
