Top 10 Women Leaders In Manufacturing - 2023
Women Deciding upon Manufacturing
The fabrication or assembly of components into finished products on a fairly large scale is nothing but manufacturing, and it encompasses major industries that produce aircraft, automobiles, chemicals, clothing, computers, consumer electronics, electrical equipment, furniture, heavy machinery, refined petroleum products and more. Fueled by a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit, robust technological infrastructure and a highly skilled human workforce the manufacturing industry is skyrocketing today. Being a male-dominated industry traditionally, less than one third of manufacturing employees are women. Though there have been improvements in recent years, unfortunately female representation falls short when it comes to manufacturing and engineering services. Researches reflect, only 12 percent of manufacturing employees are women, making it a high-time for women to jump into something new and work with latest innovation and tools.
Womanization across Industries
With revolutions in industries and mankind, the role of women today has been changed significantly, thanks to the increasing number of well-known organizations. They are the trend setters towards women in leadership position and providing gender equality a paramount importance to minimize the gender gap. Now women are able to find a world that is driven by performance and results, and there are opportunities in it for anyone with the right skills to rise to the top regardless of gender. Women are now self-sufficient, well aware and financially independent. They have attained immense success in every field, whether it is sports, politics or academics and emerged as transformational and visionary industry leaders leading happier, more productive and connected teams for their organizations. Finally the world is now witnessing women increasingly gaining power in the corporate world that had been previously denied to them.
