Women in Healthcare: Today every profession mainly the health care profession is in a continual state of self-assessment in order to surpass the expectation regarding patient safety and efficiency in the health care system that ultimately enhances value for society as a whole. This evolution in healthcare is more than a fact for women, as they are getting ultimate opportunities to show their caliber and capability beyond home. Today health industry welcomes both women and men to come forward, work together and gains the status together as health care providers. Additionally, a research reflects, healthcare appears to be one of the best industries for working women on several dimensions. Being a broad industry that bears drug and medical-device manufacturers, as well as service providers and payers, healthcare surpasses other industries in female representation. Also, more women seem to hold executive management positions at the highest level in this sector.

Women Representation: As per studies, placing more women in leadership positions and having more women at the front and center of decision-making processes not only increases organizational productivity but also maximizes the value of the workforce. Undeniably, today women represents well in almost every sector that has been dominated by man before, however reaching leadership positions has proven to be really rare, and the health sector is no different. As per a study published in the medical journal Lancet in 2021, women represent 71 percent of the global health care workforce wherein few percentages refers to doctors or leadership position and rest are nurses and midwives. Amid all, the truth is although women have come a long way in healthcare there is still rooms for taking leadership.
