Top 10 Women HR Leaders - 2021

Unlike every other field, the HR industry is a sector which has high representation of women. While it is simple to throw out several outdated stereotypes and make conclusions about why this is, but the statistical data and industry analytics support the logic as well.

We have all heard that women are better suited to HR because they are more intuitive and have greater interpersonal skills. Efficient management is the most apparent and fundamental requisite of an HR manager. Women are often better at managing and multitasking than their male counterparts. Engagement is the intended result of good management. The highest level of worker involvement is exhibited when there are the most females present.

For many serious HR experts, however, this reduction appears to be oversimplified. The topic of whether it is a genetic predisposition for both the job, and how big of a role this plays, is a contested one.

The membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is majority female (79%). India is not far behind either. More than half of those working in the HR field are women. According to a study, women make up for over 60 percent of HR professionals globally across several industrial sectors. This is a clear indication that women are outperforming males in this area.
