Top 10 Women Chief Growth officers - 2022

With the tightening of competition in marketing and branding, the role of a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is becoming more prevalent in various organizations. A CGO manages company's growth both in terms of revenue and audience growth. A CGO's role is to collaborate, measure, and provide support for growth initiatives to reshape the organization they work in, in order to stay ahead of buyer needs. A CGO works across teams and department and should be focused on external marketing dynamics. CGOs work for making all company departments' customer centric, disrupting the way companies approach their brand's vision. After the instant success of many Tech Startups, this data and tech focused role is gaining more importance.

As the role of a VGO is comparatively a new one, many women are chosen to this position. This can be added to the stories of growth and success of many women leaders in boardrooms in India. As per a new gender diversity report  from global financial services company, Credit Suisse, the women's representation on boards in 2015 was a little over 11 percent and it went up over 17 percent in 2021. In last six years, India has seen six percent increase in the women representation on boards.
