With 60% Female Students, IIM Sambalpur welcomes its Largest MBA Batch

The 9th MBA Batch 2023-2025 has been welcomed by one of the top business schools in the country, IIM Sambalpur. This newly organized batch is considered to be the largest batch to date. The batch size was increased by the institute from 300 to 320 this year.
Apart from becoming the largest batch, it is one of the highest females participated batch, with 60 per cent of the 329 students who registered their names for the course being female. The 197 seat enrollments have been done by female students which also reflected one of IIM Sambalpur's core values of inclusivity.
The remaining 132 seats, or 40 per cent of the total were taken by male students. The institute strives to offer students top-notch learning opportunities in all areas of management education so they can be aware of the rapid change in the dynamic business environment. The new batch enables thorough tech-enhanced knowledge.
During the inauguration ceremony of the 2023-2025 batch, distinguished guests including Dr Tapan Kumar Chand, President of Vedanta Ltd., and Ms. Swati Agarwal, Partner at Deloitte graced the inauguration ceremony and presented some motivational speeches to all the students who participated. They shared their piece of knowledge and experience with the new batch in a very open and knowledgeable manner, guiding them on their future academic journeys and also outlining what will be the outcomes. In order to thank the dignitaries who were present during the event, Professor Shivani Sharma gave a vote of thanks.
