Deshpande Startups, India’s largest technology business incubator, recently on-boarded 45 early revenue stage startups to its DS-NIDHI Accelerator &WeEnable Bharat-Women Accelerator Program. The 16-week cohort-driven, structured, high-touch market and investment-focused program will help them to accelerate their growth, improve existing processes and explore new business opportunities. It will also involve intense mentoring, intervention in the area of constraint, and providing access to strategic resources to scale their business rapidly.

DeshpandeStartups has designed a unique market-focused accelerator program named “NIDHI ACCELERATOR” supported by NIDHI Accelerator, Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India and “WeENABLE BHARAT - WOMEN ACCELERATOR” supported by Elevate women Initiative, Govt of Karnataka. The programs focus on enabling tech start-ups led by men and women to be market and investment-ready. The current cohort includes 30 women-led tech start-ups.

These interventions address gender-specific financing challenges, provide skills training and mentorship access, and build market linkages. I welcome more start-ups to leverage this opportunity and the support of Deshpande Startups and such partnerships to become a catalyst in their growth.”

Adding further, Champa E, GM-KITS, said, “India has more women-owned enterprises than many other countries. When provided equal access to inputs, women-led companies produce equally economically solid outcomes.
