4th Edition of Vijayalakshmi Das Entrepreneurship Awards felicitates Women Microentrepreneurs

SATYA MicroCapital Ltd. organized the fourth edition of the Vijayalakshmi Das Entrepreneurship Awards 2024, recognizing women microentrepreneurs across rural India. The awards celebrate India's entrepreneurial transformation, led by dynamic women breaking stereotypes at the Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi.

The SATYA MicroCapital Limited, SATYA Micro Housing Finance, and SATYA Shakti Foundation held the awards ceremony in honor of the late Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Das, a pioneer in the Indian microfinance industry. Named after Vijayalakshmi Das, the event honors women entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional business acumen, innovation, and community impact. The ceremony was attended by Pinki Kaushik Singh and Neharika Yadav, who were also honored as the first female bike racer, dental surgeon, and UNESCO brand ambassador.

The event featured prominent members including Taejun Shin, Navin Surya, CP Mohan, Surekha Marandi, Dr. Deepali Pant Joshi, Sanjay Gandhi, Dr. Ratnesh Tiwari, Mahesh Shivlingappa Payannavar, and Sohil Manoj Shah. The Vijayalakshmi Das Entrepreneurship Awards 2024 recognized women entrepreneurs in varied business categories, including manufacturing, agri production, textiles, food, hospitality, and sustainable lifestyle products. The winners include Ruma Devi of Handmade Products of India, Shailza Sood Das Gupta of Homestays of India, Nilanjana Das of ACT, Ritika of Craft Edge, Razia Sheikh of Bastar Foods, Sadhana Dipak Deshmukh of Guru Soya Products, Manju of Manju's Bag Making Business, Sukhwinder Kaur of Chatkara Punjabi Achaar, Anchala Aswal of Moksham Candle. Co, and Hema of Hema's Stitching & Designing.
