Tell us about the industry experience that you bring to the table as an experienced HR professional.

My journey in HR commenced with a volunteer position in the United States back in 2007. After relocating to India in 2011, the valuable experience I gained as a volunteer in the US facilitated my entry into a small consultancy in Bangalore named Classmate Consultants. From there, my career progressed steadily, providing me with opportunities to work in renowned corporate firms such as Artech, Accenture, and Attra Infotech, before I established VBGYR.

Human Resources Management is often referred to as the heart of an organization, playing a pivotal role in shaping both the workforce and the organizational culture. Every job opportunity significantly impacts the lives of individuals and their families. I have always been deeply committed to my role, emphasizing the responsibility I carry. I consistently prioritize the quality of resources I bring into the organization and maintain integrity while interacting with these resources.

My experience spans various sectors including IT, ITES, BPO, and KPO, allowing me to comprehend diverse domains and skill sets. Engaging with a global network of resources and collaborating with leadership teams to design and implement recruitment strategies has equipped me with extensive knowledge across different fields.

The genesis of 'VIBGYOR' as a name dates back to 2008 when I first felt the urge to embark on an entrepreneurial journey. Given the existence of other organizations with similar names, I officially christened the company as 'VBGYR IT SOLUTIONS' in 2022.

VBGYR IT SOLUTIONS is dedicated to recognizing and nurturing the aspirations of women by providing them with career guidance, skill development training, job opportunities, and empowering them economically. Our core focus is on empowering women to excel in the world of technology, and we aspire to evolve into a world-class organization.

We have initially started by offering customized staffing solutions across various sectors, including Information Technology, Banking, Accounting & Finance, Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Retail, Biotech, Healthcare, and BPO/ITES. Our vision is to enrich and empower the female workforce, especially in the technology sector, to achieve excellence.

Share the challenges you face as an entrepreneur and the strategies you employ to overcome them.

One of the most formidable challenges I encounter is establishing that my team possesses the capabilities to perform at the same level as employees in other organizations. When approaching new clients, there is often skepticism regarding how a group of women, many of whom lack prior experience or have substantial career gaps, can effectively carry out their work remotely.

My unwavering belief has always been, 'If I, with my career gaps, can successfully transition to an entrepreneur, then my team can also achieve success.' To address this challenge, I developed a comprehensive training program designed to familiarize my team with the corporate world and equip them with the necessary skills to kickstart their careers. Additionally, I've established a flexible work environment to support them in their journey towards becoming professional women.

The trust I have in my team, coupled with patience and our collective dedication, has earned us accolades from all the clients we collaborate with.

Share some of your significant professional accomplishments and the guiding principles that have driven your success.

I view every incremental step forward from my initial venture as a noteworthy milestone. When I founded VBGYR, it started with a team of four trainees and a single client. In just one year, we've expanded to a team of 15 professionals and secured over 10 clients. VBGYR is gaining recognition, evidenced by the influx of applications from women nationwide. We're diligently working to further our growth and provide opportunities to all women who seek employment through us. My formula for success revolves around the concept of helping others achieve their goals.

What are your expectations regarding the future development and evolution of talent acquisition in India?

The talent acquisition landscape in India is currently in the midst of a swift and dynamic transformation. Initiatives promoting diversity and inclusion, AI powered recruitment, virtual hiring practices, strategic employer branding, data-driven decision making utilizing analytics, enhancing the candidate experience, and personalized recruitment approaches are collectively reshaping the Indian job market.
