Give Us A Brief Overview Of Crescita Research & Consulting. What Were The Motivating Factors That Lead You To Establish A Market Research Company?
Crescita Research & Consulting was established in 2020 during pandemic and in many ways, we are unique and distinct unlike a traditional market research firm. Crescita means growth in Italian language. Our team works closely with clients to structure a strategy that will deliver the specific results needed to make right decisions. We don’t believe in offering complex deliverables in fact we believe in offering solutions in easy to understand format. This way, client is able to utilize these solutions easily to support the growth of the company.

Adding about the inception of Crescita, I have a master’s degree in Chemistry and my educational background is different from the job I am doing today, after finishing my post-graduation, I decided to work in R&D field. Later, I worked in the United States for a few years for a FMCG Company, and during this period, I realized that I can contribute more as a consultant in this industry. Soon after that, I returned to India and started looking for options to explore this space. While I was travelling for leisure, I noticed freelancers working from different locations like beaches and cafes.

I feel it’s an empowering way to live and work and encourages me to keep taking risks outside my comfort zone”

They would travel to places of their own choice and would work from there. I was certainly envious of them which made me realize that I want more freedom for myself. This thought motivated me to start my own firm.

How Has Your Professional Growth Journey Been So Far?
Being an entreprenuer is an exhausting, exhiliarating and exciting journey all in one. My professional growth journey has been really interesting, with both ups and downs. When I first decided to start my own company, it was not an easy choice for me; I had several concerns and was not sure if I was doing the right thing. But I took the risk and started my own business during the pandemic, and when lockdown continued for a longer duration, I was not sure whether we would survive. Creating a company in such circumstances was a high-risk task and I was brave enough to take the risk, which aided my development. My journey has been incredibly satisfying; Crescita is running smoothly and gaining more clients and companies are willing to collaborate with us, and all have been fantastic.

How Is The Business Consulting And Market Research Growth In The Indian Business Landscape? What Opportunities Do You Foresee Developing In The Market Shortly?
Currently, there is a tremendous opportunity in market research services. As many businesses still spend their market research budgets on traditional and outdated techniques to gather insights. As a result, most businesses fail to really see key insights from their market research. And are left with an incorrect view of who their customers are, what they want, and how to target them effectively. There is high need for quality and cost-effective market research methods.

Only those market research firms, in my opinion, would be able to survive and thrive if they have a firm grasp on the pulse of their clients. Again, businesses should use the right techniques to provide clients with perspectives that are truly impactful and assist them in making sound business decisions.
