Aanchal Vash
Founder & CEO, Vash Media

In light of its favorable influence on economic development and job creation, entrepreneurship is quickly becoming one of the world's most popular career paths. An entrepreneurial mindset may be nurtured at any age, and there are a variety of ways to do it. If we start cultivating the qualities that make an entrepreneur successful as early as possible in life, we increase our chances of being impactful in our professional lives down the road, regardless of whether we choose an entrepreneurial route or one more conventional. Aanchal Vash is a real-life example of this.

At age 10, Aanchal had an entrepreneurial mindset, and as the years went by, she managed to start several enterprises such as Vash Media Inc. and Reach Out Together Foundation. Throughout her working life, Aanchal has taken on a variety of roles, including entrepreneur, editorial research director, certified mental health aider, mentor, and author, to name a few. Engaging in an exclusive interview with Women Entrepreneur magazine, Aanchal spoke about her business experience and the underlying philosophy of every firm.

Give Us A Brief Overview Of Vash Media. What Inspired You To Establish This Organization?

As a media management business, Vash helps start-ups, entrepreneurs, and medium-sized companies with their digital visibility. We assist with almost all aspects of their digital media presence, including social media marketing, email marketing, content creation, content management, book writing, publishing, and training. At the age of 17, I moved to Canada to pursue my higher education degree in Digital Enterprise Management at the University of Toronto. And after Two years, I realized that I wanted more skills to aid me in the future; because I had a hunch that I would ultimately establish my own company. Taking that into account, I further enrolled in a diploma certification program in Media Studies at Sheridan College. During my time at the college, I was able to do case studies on several established businesses. It was as a result of this that I finally became a freelancer, and learned how to approach companies to discover their needs and recommend solutions.

Why Was It Important For You To Help Raise Mental Health Awareness And Encourage Outreach For Professional Help Or Other Supports? Throw Some Light On Aanchal Vash Training.

Unfortunately, my twin brother Tushar passed away by suicide in 2016. It was at that point that I realized that although we all need money to sustain our lifestyle, there is more to life than just improving our financial health. As a result, I resigned from my work right away and obtained my Mental Health First Aid certification from the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Reach Out Together, a non-profit mental health organization was born out of that decision. It was through this foundation that I learned so much about the non-profit sector, as well as the best ways to aid and support those who are struggling with mental health. After that, I became a Canfield Certified Success Trainer and founded Aanchal Vash Training. My many endeavors in life have led me to this point, where I want to encourage both success and fulfillment. Therefore, no matter where I work, I'm motivated by a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

In Your Opinion What Have Been Some Of The Most Significant Milestones That You Have Achieved So Far In Your Professional Journey? What Has Been The Driving Force Behind Your Success As A Professional?

To be quite honest, I created my first company with both of my late brothers. Since my older brother was an avid reader, we decided to create a library as our first business when I was seven years old. And Tushar, my twin, and I became his employees; it was the first company we managed jointly, charging a little fee to our friends who visited our library. Our next venture was a paper and sticker firm, which we launched at the tender age of 10 or 11. We learned to manufacture and sell booklets. Our compensation was two products each week from whatever Tushar and I handmade. That was the beginning of our entrepreneurial life. When I was 13 and living in Nigeria, my older brother Prashant passed away. And as a means to cope, I began to paint and sketch a little.

I now realize that this was a kind of creative art therapy. I don't know why, but I began painting cartoons because I enjoyed how they made me feel. In the end, I began selling my paintings to individuals in my school since my friends were interested. That was the beginning of a third journey. Then when I moved to Canada I established Vash Media, and the non-profit organization Reach Out Together. The driving force behind my success would be to reject rejection and be willing to learn, self-improve, and grow. I truly believe in being service-oriented and adding value to people’s lives. As long as I keep reminding myself of my purpose, I am motivated to show up and do the work.

You Are Also A Best-Selling Author. Tell Us More About Your Literary Pursuits. What Is Next On The Anvil For You As A Change Agent?

I've had the privilege to co-author two books so far. The first is titled Success Strategies and features my mentor Jack Canfield and other industry leaders. That book was a big success, and it made it to the bestselling list on Amazon. Then, more recently, I co-authored another book titled 101 Unconventional Strategies, which includes 101 coauthors from all walks of life including - the famous Indian cricketer, Kuldeep Yadav, Former NFL Athlete Anthony Trucks, C.E.O of ClickFunnels Dave Woodward, and a variety of notable executives, actors, and actresses. It instantly hit Amazon's #1 best-seller list for books on inspiration and self-help. I was delighted to be included in such an impressive collection of voices.

Currently, I am working on my new book, Ongoing Success and Wellbeing: A Daily Guide to Cultivate Fulfillment in the Pursuit of Achievement. I'm incredibly excited about this book. I've spent a great deal of time writing this book because I've seen that everyone talks about achievement, but few discuss well-being strategies what wellbeing is and how to maintain it? How do you look after another person who isn't doing so well? The focus of this book is on how to achieve long-term success while also maintaining positive mental health. It will be launched on June 29, 2022.
