Lumikai Fund, founded in 2020 by Salone Sehgal and Justin Keeling, is India's first venture capital fund dedicated exclusively to gaming and interactive media startups.
Salone Sehgal is a respected figure in gaming and VC circles. She previously worked as Principal at London Venture Partners and has received accolades for her work in mobile, UK tech, animation, visual arts, gaming, and comics.
The fund has raised $40M in its first fund and $50M in its second fund. Lumikai supports early-stage startup teams with cheque sizes ranging from $200K to $2M. The fund aims to channel capital into India's underrepresented startup talent and supports tools and platforms that power interactive digital experiences. As India transitions from a net importer to a net exporter of gaming content, Lumikai-backed startups help formalize the digital creative economy and fuel export-led growth in media and entertainment.
