Singapore-based entrepreneur Val Yap made a bold move from corporate finance to fintech by founding PolicyPal in 2016. As CEO, she led the insurtech startups to rapid growth, accumulating over 1000,000 organic users and facilitating $ 70 million in insurance premiums. PolicyPal’s strong market performance ultimately attracted acquisition by a NYSE-listed company, reinforcing Yap’s reputation as a visionary in digital insurance solutions.
Val yap continues to push boundaries of digital insurance as she leads PolicyPal toward regional expansion and deeper user engagement.
