Sneh Rana was honoured by the Uttarakhand Government with a Rs 50 lakh reward following India’s ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 triumph. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami personally congratulated her, praising her as “Uttarakhand’s daughter” and applauding her role in bringing global pride to the state. He reaffirmed Uttarakhand’s commitment to developing sports infrastructure and supporting women athletes. On her return to Dehradun, Sneh received a warm hero’s welcome with dhol-nagadas and cheering fans, marking her first homecoming after the victory. Celebrations continued in her hometown of Sanaula, where family and community honored her years of dedication and hard work.

Deepti Sharma was honoured by the Uttar Pradesh Government with a Rs 3 crore cash reward and appointed as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) for her extraordinary performance in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the reward, recognising her match-winning 58 runs and five wickets in the final. Under the Kushal Khiladi Yojana, she formally assumed her DSP role, reflecting the state’s commitment to empowering sporting talent. Deepti was also celebrated in a grand state ceremony and received blessings at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, cementing her status as a national sporting icon.
