9 FEBRUARY2026In the run-up to India AI Impact Summit 2026 the International Conclave on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Inclusion and Future of Work is scheduled for February 18, 2026 in New Delhi at The Park and is being hosted by the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) and being organized in partnership with iCreate, IIM Jammu, Infisum and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII).The Indian Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology is also involved in the organization of the conclave.The conclave will create a platform for senior representatives from State Governments, International Policy Makers, Industry Leaders, Economists, Academic Experts, and Practitioners in the Social Sector to engage in discussions focused on how to align AI with equity, Livelihood security, and Inclusive Economic Growth.As AI develops and impacts Productivity, Service Delivery, and Business Models, the conclave will provide opportunities for the participants to also discuss challenges emerging from the concentration of Capital, Computing Infrastructure, and Intellectual Property through the development of AI, which may continue to widen the equity gap.According to Dr. Milind Kamble, the founder and chairperson of DICCI, who also serves as chairperson for this conclave, "The next phase of economic opportunity will be defined by artificial intelligence. An important question will be whether this opportunity will remain centrally located or move to becoming a participatory opportunity.The six pillars of this conclave which support inclusion are: Education, Small Business Formalisation, Financial Literacy, Future Ready Agriculture, AI for Speedy Justice and AI for Empowering the Informal Worker. To support long-term social mobility, inclusion must be integrated into the design of all AI systems and governance frameworks."Padma Shri winner Ravi Kumar Narra, National President of DICCI, continued, "The economic empowerment we create through our policies has the most benefit when the intent of the policies aligns with successful implementation by institutions.The same level of care must be applied when using AI to increase productivity in the informal sector, to increase market access for small businesses, and to provide ways for workers to transition. Inclusion must be measured and not just a goal."DICCI will use this conclave to support the institutionalisation of inclusion as a key component of the evolving AI policy in India while creating opportunities for collaboration and making available concrete commitments which link AI to equity, employment, and development of the nation.
