9 DECEMBER2025BizDateUp, a Mumbai-based venture capital company, has announced a dedicated fund of 50 crore for women-led start-ups in India.It aspires to fill up the financial gap between women entrepreneurs and onboard more females in India's start-up ecosystem. The news came from Jeet Chandan, Group Managing Director of BizDateUp, during the Womenpreneur Leadership Forum and Awards 2025 in Mumbai.The firm said the investment fund would focus on Seed and Growth stage companies led by women. Besides the investment support, the selected startups will be taken through mentorship and professional networking services.It will focus on sectors that are attracting an increasing number of women founders, such as Technology, Digital, Healthcare, Sustainability, Consumer Products, and Creative businesses.BizDateUp said the project was targeting women entrepreneurs based in the metropolitan, Tier II and Tier III cities, who may have limited access to funding and networking opportunities.Apart from the stated, the company also said the detailed architecture and application process for this fund would be declared over the coming weeks.BizDateUp is a Mumbai-based venture capital firm launched by Jeet and Meet Jain.
